Euro-dollar on track for sharpest quarterly loss since 2008

The euro has fallen sharply against the U.S. dollar over the last year or so, and as of March 30, the currency pair was on track to suffer its greatest quarterly decline since the third quarter of 2008. Gold will surpass $1,300/oz by May, says analyst

Even though gold has experienced some sharp volatility so far this year, the precious metal will surpass $1,300 per ounce by the end of May, Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s MacNeil Curry predicted recently. Curry, who is head of global technical analysis for the unit of Bank of America, pointed to several factors when justifying his forecast, according to CNBC.  Read More »
